My Requirements and Holds Explained

Here is a brief explanation of each of the items that may be included in your My Requirements and Holds section. Please note that you only need to complete the items appearing in your list. Not all apply to every student.

  • Permanent Address Verification - review and make sure it is accurate or edit as needed.
  • Annual Agreements - after reviewing the Student Handbook and Model Release Information, you will confirm your intentions.
  • Emergency Contact - update or provide information in the event of an emergency.
  • Financial Aid Awards - visit your myfinaid portal and accept or decline your awards.
  • Financial Aid Documents - visit your myfinaid portal to see what forms or documents are needed to complete your awarding process.  Please note that some items such as SC Proof of Residency and Verification can take up to three weeks to process.  Do not wait to turn these things in.
  • Immunization History - provide immunization records.
  • Register for next term - register for spring classes by contacting your advisor and following these steps.  New students entering NGU in August of 2023 should contact the Admissions Office.
  • Request for Accommodations - information for the Office of Accessibility
  • Student Insurance Information - provide policy information to be used only in the event of an emergency where your designated contacts cannot be reached.
  • Student Registration Agreement - accept the terms.  Please note that this document is required each year.
  • Balance Due - make a payment or set up a payment plan by selecting Students>Student Accounts>Make a Payment/Payment Plan

You may email us anytime at ngucentral@ngu.edu and we will respond to you within 24-48 hours during normal business hours.

Whether you are a traditional undergraduate or graduate student or taking courses online, the NGUcentral staff can help you manage the business of being a student at North Greenville University.  NGUcentral associates are available to assist you with questions related to Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Academic Records.  NGUcentral is a helpful resource for students at any point in the semester when needing to take care of things like making a payment on your student account, inquiring about remaining financial aid steps, and/or seeking assistance to add or drop a class.
