Seeking Stellar Communicators

Looking for work that is Meaningful and Service-Oriented? The Office of Admissions is hiring stellar communicators who can converse over the phone with high school students who are starting their journeys with NGU. If that’s you, apply to be a part of our elite tele-counselor team! You will have the opportunity to share your NGU story and provide helpful insights about college to high school students who are navigating the college prep process.

Hours are 5-8pm, Mondays through Fridays; you choose which weekday nights work for you! Tele-counselors may work up to 70 hours per semester. For more information, call the NGU Associate Director for Recruiting at 864-977-7054.

Tree of Life Book Butler

NGU partners with Tree of Life Bookstores (TOL), which provides students with cheaper and more convenient rental course materials. This partnership helps students pay less for textbook costs, and also receive them before classes begin. We have provided a section on our website with answers to Frequently Asked Questions such as, how are textbooks provided?; what happens if I add or drop a class?; or what if I want to opt out of Tree of Life and buy my own books? Be sure to check out this section for details.

To view required course materials: select the “Tree of Life”  link under the “Quick Links” section on the portal to connect to the TOL, access digital content, and set your preferences for future orders. Learn more about the Tree of Life Textbook Butler Service and watch the tutorial here.
